Ocean Sun is proud to announce that Ole‑Jørgen Myrtrøen has joined as Chief Product Officer (CPO). Ole‑Jørgen brings outstanding experience in scaling renewable energy solutions, having successfully led teams and delivered results across solar, wind, hydropower and battery projects.
With a strong background from Hydro Rein — where he improved efficiency, aligned standards, and accelerated portfolio delivery, and from consultancy (Multiconsult and Metier), Ole‑Jørgen is well-versed in developing practical, scalable approaches for complex challenges.
Ole‑Jørgen holds a PhD in fluid dynamics from Imperial College London and an MSc in Energy & Environmental Engineering from NTNU. His technical expertise and hands-on approach will help Ocean Sun further strengthen its product strategy and drive innovation in floating solar.
