SOLUTIONS

Ocean Sun offers floater units for delivery across the globe. Due to the horizontal orientation of our modules and the solar elevation angle, the product is best suited within 45 degrees latitude. We assist in location analysis for customers anywhere in the world.  The analysis includes estimated annual power production, wave and wind conditions and mooring requirements. On request, we can also assess marine biology impact.

The products are based on utilty type, dual-glass, silicon crystaline modules with customized junction box, cables and attachment features. The modules are quickly and securely attached to the membrane using a unique fixation mechanism. This enables good thermal contact with the waterbody.

The PV modules are adapted for deployment on the flexible membrane.

The non-permeable membrane offers an effective barrier against the waterbody.  The membrane is carefully designed to withstand mechanical stress and sun exposure.

CF 200

The 200 kWp circular floater is the smallest floater we offer for harsh wheather conditions. The diameter i 50 m and the area approx. 2000 m2.

CF 500

Our flagship is the 500 kWp circular floater. The diameter is 72 m and the area approx 4000 m2.

RF 100

The 100 kWp rectangular floater is the smallest floater we offer. It is developed for benign waterbodies such as rivers and ponds. The unit is not able to withstand the same wave conditions as the circular versions. The lean design makes it the preferred choice in many locations. The width is 12 m and the length is 80 m.
